The following case study centers around the review of a property’s existing Internet and Cable offering. Should market conditions support it, Redpoint Connect recommended it was best to cancel cable service in exchange for further advancement in the internet infrastructure and speed. Redpoint was then able to reduce the Client’s monthly costs while greatly improving their resident’s internet experience and overall satisfaction with their leases. Redpoint was able to save this client $123,496.00 over the course of a year and $617,480.00 over the term of a new 5-year contract.

Client was able to remove seldom used cable services and increase internet functionality and speed for their property. With Redpoint Connect’s consulting experience and vendor relationships, we were able to negotiate, save Client and oversee the project through completion.
Assessment
After initial analysis, an estimate of the capital investment needed to upgrade internet service was provided to the client. After the approval of estimates by ownership, Redpoint Connect managed the entire bid process as follows: Redpoint sent and managed a Request for Proposal (RFP) to providers that service the market, oversaw the collection of bids, reviewed RFPs with owner offering suggestions based on price, and negotiated favorable contract terms on behalf of ownership in conjunction with legal counsel.
